Horn & Carb - 4 Hrs

I sourced some carb parts that I can modify to fit the Holley S.

The bulb horn on American cars is attached to a pole on the inside of the left door panel, where the driver’s door is on Canadian cars. The steering column mount is unique to Canadian cars.

The original bulb and brass hose that were on this car were beyond repair. I ordered new parts. Of course, they are designed to fit American cars. My job today was to cut the new brass hose to pieces, modify the couplings, and solder everything back together. It took a while, but it worked.

When the car arrived, the horn bulb was mounted under the column. That location makes it even more difficult to enter the car through the driver’s door. I mounted it above the column. It can easily be placed below the column if necessary.
